14.2.2023: MEDigi winter webinar: “International networks and teaching cooperation and what they enable”

The MEDigi project is a national endeavour to harmonise and modernise medical education in Finland through digitalisation so as to ensure a high level of competence among graduates entering the health care system and to safeguard digital abilities in an information society undergoing rapid change.

The audience in this webinar (12.00 - 14.30) where teaching staff of medicine and dentistry from the Universities of Oulu, Eastern Finland, Tampere, Helsinki and Turku. Dr. Bas de Leng talked at 13.40 about the cLovid–project: Connecting learners in the active and collaborative acquisition of image interpretation skills.

10.02.2023: Faculty development afternoon: “Online collaborative learning with large images. New digital tools and open resources for medical education”, Turku

This seminar is the final seminar of the EU-funded cLovid project (2021-2023). The main goals of the EU-funded project ”Collaborative learning of Viewing and Decision-making skills” (cLovid) were to deliver the technical conditions necessary for the online teaching of histology incorporating active and collaborative student activities and to carry out a set of teaching experiments in the context of medical education (local, national & international level).

The aim of this seminar at the University of Örebro is to discuss and share teaching experiences using digital images and online tools for individual andcollaborative learning.

May/June 2022: Dual midterm event

A two days meeting in Amsterdam (Part 1) as a prelude for an online videoconference (Part 2) on June the 20th.

With the physical meeting in Amsterdam we offer the project partners the opportunity to meet in person, something that, because of the corona pandemic, wasn’t possible since the start of the cLovid project. Additional purpose is to strengthen the commitment of the strategic partners at the three Finnish universities in which at the end of the project pilot implementations will take place.

In the sequence of the physical and online event the Erasmus Plus activities of a transnational project meeting (project coordination) and a multiplier event (sharing and disseminating intermediate intellectual outputs) are combined.
